E3 2012: Activision bringing Angry Birds to consoles

Activision has revealed that it is bringing Angry Birds to consoles at E3 2012.

The publisher made its intentions  apparent during the reel on its E3 booth video wall, briefly showing one of Rovio's birds flying into an Activision logo between other game footage.

"We'll have some news for you in about two weeks," said an Activision spokesperson when questioned by The Escapist. "Wait until you see Angry Birds on consoles in HD."

Whether it will be a simple up-rezzed port or a more substantial overhaul has yet to be revealed.

Angry Birds in HD? What a waste of pixels. And I bet they expect people to pay for it.
